- This applies to replacing felt/installing the entire roof and includes both structures with a new shake roof, @ 74 sq’s.
- Remove 1 layer of felt from the entire roof.
- Remove and replace any sheets of bad plywood from the roof as needed. Any sheets of plywood needed would add $85 to the total.
- Remove and replace fascia and trim from the perimeter of the roof as needed.
- We will install a cricket around the chimney if the back of the chimney area is 32″ or larger.
- Install new felt over the entire shake roof.
- Remove and replace SA-SBS Basesheet & Capsheet from death valleys, and chimneys on the shake roof as needed.
- Install new DaVinci Shakes over the entire roof. Owner will provide DaVinci Shake materials.
- Install 3″x3″ drip edge around the perimeter of the shake roof as needed.
- Install starter shakes as needed.
- Install new 3″ metal drip on 346ft of rakes as needed.
- Install O’Hagins as needed throughout the shake roof.
- Install roof jacks as needed throughout the shake roof.
- Install 216ft of valley metals, install 43ft of hip and 234ft of ridge caps on the shake roof.
- Seal all penetrations, haul away debris, and keep yard clean.
- Provide a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty (limited lifetime warranty by DaVinci) against leaks over the entire shake roof (both structures), @ 74 sq’s.
